James Junebug Chavis

James Jr. Chavis, 58, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2011. He was born on September 10, 1952 in Hoke County, North Carolina. He was the son of the late James Lucy Chavis Sr., and Marylee Chavis. “Junebug” was a resident of the Southend area on Bruck and Hinkle Avenue and recently Bruck and Hosack Avenue. James was a man of fun and joy who respected everyone and love his children and grandchildren very dearly. He was preceded in death by his long time love, Annette Chavis. He is survived by his six children and one step-child; 12 grandchildren; 10 brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews.
