Janice R. Woods (Dunlap)

Janice R. (Dunlap) Woods was born November 10, 1959 to James Russell Dunlap, Sr. and Alberta Stewart Dunlap in Columbus, Ohio. While growing up in Columbus, Janice attended Columbus City Schools and graduated from East High School. As a young adult, she worked as a lifeguard at Blackburn Recreation Center. Most recently, Janice was employed by Blue Cross - Blue Shield, where she worked in the claims department. She enjoyed fishing, traveling, and was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star. On March 13, 2018, at the age of 58, Janice Ruth Woods passed away while at the Manor of Whitehall Care Center. She was preceded in death by her father James, and sister Jacqueline Jenkins. Those who remain to cherish memories of Janice are her three daughters, Twasha Harding, Tina Woods, and Tanika Woods; mother Alberta Dunlap; former husband and father of her children, Neehemmie Woods; sister Judy Galloway; brother Kwatha (Tracy) Dunlap; grandchildren, Taquala Woods, Ta'Vion Bryant, DaShawn Harding, Alisha Hargrove and Quentin Wagoner, II; great grandchildren, Knowledge Baafi, Knowelle Baafi, and Ty'Quan Harding; nephews, Domonique Dunlap and Dontae Dunlap; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
