Janice Sarah (Prentice) Cunningham

Janice Sarah Cunningham was born October 14, 1951 to Charles and Mildred Prentice in Welch, West Virginia. She exited this earth and walked through the Gates of Heaven on March 31, 2011. She graduated from Jefferson Community College where she received an associates degree in Early Childhood Development. Later in life she received her certification degree in ministry. She was spiritually reborn on May 18, 1963 at Zion Temple Church in Steubenville, Ohio and grew up in this assembly. She later relocated to Zanesville, Ohio and attended Apostolic Christian Church under the pastorate of Bishop Frank McDonald. Her last stop before Heaven was serving at Grace Apostolic Church under the Pastorate of Bishop James Gaiters Sr. She has served the Lord in many capacities including Sunday School teacher, Usher, Choir Director, Soloist and President of the Youth Ministry. Janice married Paul E Cunningham on December 07, 1969, and to this union was born four children Paul Joseph Cunningham, Mildred Anne Cunningham, Patrick Tillman Cunningham, Virgil Jay Cunningham She is proceeded in death by parents, Charles Mildred Prentice, daughter, Mildred Anne Cunningham, brothers, Jonnie Patrick, Stephen Ray, and Howard Garfield Prentice; Sister Jamie Sharon Prentice-Bennett She leaves to cherish her memory Husband of fourty-two years, Elder Paul E Cunningham; three sons, Paul Joseph, Patrick Tillman, and Virgil Jay Cunningham; grandchildren, Paul Joseph Jr., Stephen Patrick, Breona Danielle, Aleah Patrice, and Anna Janease Cunningham, Kiana Niche’ James and Rachelle Janae’ Jeter; God children, Stephanie Prentice -Williams and Janise Kaufman- Young; brothers, Charles A. Prentice Jr. (Debbie) Steubenville, Ohio, Dudley P. Prentice (Beverly Kelley) Steubenville, Ohio, Charlene E. Prentice, Wintersville, Ohio, Dale Taylor Sr. (Belinda) Smithfield, Va.; sisters, Linda K. Prentice Columbus, Ohio, Drema K. Kaufman (Derrick, Sr.), Stephanie G. Jeter (Kermit) Grove City, Ohio and a host of nieces and nephews.
