Janice Stewart

Janice Stewart, 86, of Columbus, Ohio transitioned peacefully on January 13, 2025.

Janice "Lindy" Brittman Stewart was born on August 15, 1938, in Holly Grove, AR, to the late Julius Brittman and the late Jessie Eunice Ewans Brittman. Janice graduated from St. Mary's of the South. She was employed by Ohio State University, the Girls Industrial School, and later retired from the Coca-Cola Industry. Janice was a devout member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, where she faithfully served for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Laverne Stewart; her parents, Julius and Jessie Brittman; her brothers, Julius, Leroy, and Lester Brittman; and her sister, Debbie Brittman. She leaves to cherish her memory her sister, Dorothea Brittman; her brother, Donald (Betty) Brittman; her stepchildren; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She is also survived by a host of cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025 from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Diehl-Whittaker Funeral Service, 1370 East Main Street, Columbus, Ohio 43205 with a Funeral Service immediately following.
