Jannette Elaine Porter

Jannette E. (Stringer) Porter, 68, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2012. Preceded in death by parents Carl and Ruth Stringer, and brother Anthony D. Stringer. Survived by husband James; children, Michele Wilson, Sheri Cornute, and Daryl Cornute; brother Karl R. Stringer; twin sister Annette E. Shelton; 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends. Celebration of Life 11 a.m., Monday, January 16, 2012 at Family Missionary Baptist Church, 996 Oakwood Ave., where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the start of service. Pastor Frederick V. LaMarr, officiating. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
