Jeanie Mae Forte

Major Jeanie M. Forte, age 64, departed this life on Monday, April 1, 2013 at Durham VA Community Life Center, in Durham, NC. She was born on May 21, 1948 in Brownsville, PA. She was predeceased in death by parent Rev. Benjamin Forte, Sr. She retired from the Air Force in Goldsboro, NC where she served 18 years in Nurse Service Management. She obtained her B.S. in Nursing degree from The Ohio State University. She was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish in her memory her loving mother, Mildred Forte; sisters, Beatrice (Sylvester) Edwards of Thomaston, AL, Mildred (David) Thomas, Evangelist Benzetta Forte both of Columbus, OH; brothers, Dytanion (Marcelyn) Forte of Columbus, OH, Benjamin (Joyce) Forte Jr. of Durham, NC. , and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
