Jerry Goins

Jerry Goins, passed away, the morning of Monday, October 9, 2023. He was supported by his loving family during the last days of his life.

Born on September 23, 1948, in Carbondale, West Virginia, he attended Montgomery High School in Montgomery, WV. Jerry graduated from Central High School, in Columbus, Ohio.

He joined the US Army and worked as a Welder, Paratrooper and Sharpshooter.

Jerry will be missed by family and friends. You are home Jerry.

He is preceded in death by Father, James Kinney and Mother, Juanita Medley Goins Kinney; sister, Elaine Moody.

Surviving family includes; Nathaniel Goins, John Goins, Lucille Mendheim, Joseph Goins, Robert Goins, Douglas Alan Goins, Sr., Sherilee Goins, Michael Goins, Richard Goins, Fred (Chanelle) Kinney.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm with a Funeral Service immediately following, at Trinity Baptist Church, 461 St. Clair Ave., Columbus, Ohio.
