Jerusha Lynn Clark

Jerusha Clark took her last breath on Earth and her first breath to Eternal Life on August 23, 2019. Jerusha loved God, her family, and a host of incredible friends. Known for her wit, intelligence, and loyalty, Jerusha lit up every room she entered and left everyone she touched better than they were before she met them. She is preceded in death by Grandmother Luvenia Clark, grandfather Manuel Moore Sr., uncle Reginald Jones and Darryl Dewberry, and brother Cedric Robinson. Jerusha will be lovingly remembered by her parents Victor and Janice Oriakhi and Cedric (Sherry) Hill; siblings Janica Pierce (Anthony) Tucker, Robert Clark, Igbinosa Oriakhi, Tiffany Oriakhi, Demeatrice (Anthony) McCrary, Zonya Robinson, Candis Eversole, Crystinah White, Adrienne Hill and Manuel Moore, Jr.; aunt Cathy Dewberry and uncles Alton Kevin Clark and Godwin Oriakhi. Left to carry on Jerusha’s legacy are nieces and nephews Anthony II, Khalil, Antonio, Zanis and Brooklynn Tucker, Madison, Mariah, McKinley and Robert Clark Jr; and great niece Kamiyah Tucker. Special cousins Jerry (Jacqueline) Sturdivant, Michael (Flo) Sturdivant, Dennis (Amanda)Sturdivant, Letitia (Nikki) Sturdivant; special friends Patricia Chambers and family, Kimberely Steele, Mary Chasteen, Alexis Ponder, Christiaan Colston, Roderick Harris, Jose Cos; special coaches Coach Tobette and Coach K; and special mentors Devon and Danya Berry. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 9:00am followed by a celebration of life service at 10:00am at First Church of God 3480 Refugee Rd. Columbus, OH 43232. Flowers may be sent to the church or in lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the J.L. Clark Scholarship Fund which will be distributed annually.
