Jess Davidson, 55, of Columbus, Ohio, went home Tuesday, February 8, 2011 after a lengthy illness. Born November 23, 1955, In Chattanooga Tennessee, Jess was the second son of Percy Cornelius and Jessie Lee Davidson. He was a proud Alumnus of Capital University in Bexley Ohio, earning his Bachelor’s degree in Speech in 1979. Jess worked at Huntington National Bank for many years and then completed his career at County Savings Bank. After his retirement he spent time mentoring and inspiring others on handling adversity as well as physical challenges. After years of being a dedicated Capital University alumnus, Jess was acknowledged by the naming of a Press Box in his honor. Jess enjoyed spending time with friends, taking pictures, and going to OSU games. Jess was always surrounded by good friends who cared for him. He is survived by his loyal brother Percy Davidson (Lewgean) and niece Jasmin Davidson and nephew, Wesley Rosemond, great niece Jalia Clark, god parents Clifford Gertrude Tyree and very special friends Dave Garrison and Lou and Cynthia Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
