Joan Maria Perkins

Joan Maria Perkins, age 72 formerly of Columbus, Ohio. Passed away at Springview Manor June 2, 2019 in Lima, Ohio. She was born April 8, 1947 in Somerset, Kentucky the daughter of William H. and Vandola (Fitzpatrick) Perkins. Joan was a 1966 graduate of Columbus East High School and Central State University. She taught for a short time and worked for the State of Ohio. Joan is survived by one son Adrien Perkins (Kecia), grandson Christopher Taylor, sisters Sharon Perkins of Springfield, Ohio, Thyra (Derek) Arnold of Blacklick, Ohio, Pamela Perkins (Romero) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Tina Bright and Angela Perkins of Columbus, Ohio. Brothers William H. Jr, Eric, Kerry and Aaron (Josetta) Perkins all of Columbus, Ohio, uncle Jack Fitzpatrick and aunt Mattie of Cincinnati, Ohio, aunt Jacqueline Perkins of Kentucky and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins all of whom loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, nephew Lance Perkins Sr., great-nephew Terris Neal, aunts and uncles.
