John Aaron Dooley

John A. Dooley, age 72, of Columbus, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, January 22, 2012. An active member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and former member of Oakley Full Gospel Baptist Church, John was a retired teacher for Columbus City Schools. He was an avid gardener who shared much of his produce throughout the community. His love was sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Barbara; daughters, Casey Sanders, Gina Applin, Pamela Zebbs; son, John, Jr. (Heidi); 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Blanche Ferguson; mother-in-law, Rose A. Brown and other family members.
