John Bunyan Williams

February 2, 1923 — February 26, 2021

John Bunyan Williams died peacefully with his family by his side on January 26, 2021. Along with his brother Robert, they were wards of Franklin County Children's services. John graduated from East high school in 1941, drafted into the Army and assigned to the 28th Horse-Ridden Cavalry Regiment, commonly known as the "Buffalo Soldiers". After the war he married Geraldine Williams. From their union, they raised five children, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He attended The Ohio State University and graduated in 1950. Employed with the U.S. Postal service for 30 years.
