John David Greenlee

JOHN DAVID GREENLEE was born in Columbus, Ohio, on Thursday, December 25, 1941. He was the son of Algae and Mary Greenlee. David, as he was affectionately called by family and friends, was a retiree of the City of Columbus. He professed the Baptist Faith and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Blessed with seventy-nine years of life, our beloved John D. Greenlee entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 16, 2021. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his children, Cynthia Greenlee and Demita Wells; and siblings, Mary Ann Tarrent, Evelyn Greenlee, and James “Shorty” Greenlee. Loving memories are cherished by his children, Rene Greenlee, Angela Burley, John D.(Tiffany) Greenlee II, and Michelle M. (Ray) Greenlee-Furphy; sister, Catherine Skillman; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; longtime companion, Regina Wright; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and numerous friends; including best friend, David Carter.
