John H. Carter, III, age 67, of Columbus, passed very unexpectedly and went to be with the Lord on December 28, 2017. Born December 30, 1949, John was the baby boy of John and Alma Carter's two children. He is survived by his loving daughter Adia (Ryan) Holmes; devoted mother Alma Carter; lifelong friend/sister Barbara Rhea; and a host of other relatives and friends.
