John Jerome Jones

John Jerome Jones, age 70, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, August 7, 2010 at Carolinas Medical Center-Main in Charlotte, NC. John was born on May 27, 1940 in Elba, AL to the late K.C. and Minnie Dell Jones. He relocated to Columbus, OH in 1957 where he resided until relocating to Charlotte, NC to live with his daughter and son-in-law in 2008. John retired from Timken Roller Bearing Company in 1988 after 23 years. John leaves to forever cherish his memory his sons Johnny J. Jones, Charlotte, NC and Justin H. W. Harris; his daughter Karen (Kim) Western, Charlotte, NC; his “special” son Terrence N. Jones, Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Robert L. Harper III, John J. Jones II, Heather Medlin, Yada L. Harper, Keyanna A. Jones, Brooklyn, MN, Kacela Harris, Hasaani Harris, Jamari Harris and Keenya Western; his “brother” Lawrence Tyler; 2 sisters Gladys (William) Brown and Lorene (Earnest) Michael; his mother-in-law Mrs. Ruby Wilder, 4 brothers-in-law, Ronald (Gloria) Wilder, David (Brenda) Wilder, Albert Wilder (Port Saint Lucie, FL), Dwayne (Deborah) Wilder, Richfield, MN; 2 sisters-in-law Janice Kendall, Lorton, VA and Mary Wilder; 7 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunt, uncles and friends.
