John Loron 'J.J.' Jones

John L. Jones “J.J”, 84, departed Friday after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. He was a member of the Bricklayers Local #55 and employed by the Sherman R. Smoot Co. for more than 20 years. A member of St. Dominic Catholic Church, Sheperd Community Association and was a decorated Korean War Veteran. Survived by wife of 57 years, Daisy; sons, John Jr. (Christine) and Kevin (Elizabeth), of Austin, TX; daughter, Lisa of Tampa, FL; 3 grandchildren, Alexandra, Jonathan and Kevin Jr.; and many other relatives and friends.
