John Swan Iii

John Donald Swan, III, also known as “Da Prophit”, was born on February 22, 1987. Our heavenly father commanded the departing of his spirit on Wednesday, April 17, 2013. John accepted the Lord at an early age at Shiloh Baptist Church. A 2005 graduate of Beechcroft High School, he attended barber school and Columbus State Community College. An inspired lyrical writer and rapper, John helped everyone who needed it and was always known for showing love. Predeceased by grandfather John D. Swan, Sr. Survived by son, Pharoah-John Donald Swan, IV; parents, Theodore “Pops” and Ronnetta Swan, and birth mother YeVetta Shy; siblings, Kenny, Nashon (Darcy), Renato (Michelle), Jazmine, Tanisha, and Tiya Swan; grandmothers, Rennetta S. Travis and Levida Shy; great grandmother, Vernictta Jackson; girlfriend Kyla Walker; mother of his child, Leticia Saunders; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
