Johnella Bosley Ware was born September 22, 1939 in Columbus, Ohio. She accepted Christ at an early age and was formally educated in the Columbus public school system. Johnella, or Johnny as she was affectionately known, enjoyed cooking, traveling, fishing, gatherings with family and friends, and most importantly, she enjoyed serving the Lord. After many years of employment, she retired from Lucent Technologies and became the owner/operator of J. B. Ware Barber and Nail Salon located on Harrisburg Pike. Johnella passed away Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was preceded in death by three children Robert S. White, Jr., Pearl White, and Eric E. White, Sr., both parents, Ezra and Hattie Bosley, one sister Louise Porter, and five brothers, Dalton, Carnell, Roger, William, and Ernest Ray Bosley. She is survived by her loving husband, Wilbur L. Ware, Jr.; sons, Dwayne E. White, Irvin D. (Tasia) White, and Clifford R. (Thelma) White; daughters Iretta C. (Tony) White and Carmen V. (Lander) Woods; two sisters Sylvia (George) Crawford and Lucretia Toney (Hamlet, NC); one brother Herman (Helen) Bosley; 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Homegoing Service 12 noon, Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Lee Avenue United Methodist Church, 1264 Lee Ave., where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the start of service. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
