Joseph Shaw Palmer

Joseph Shaw Palmer was born October 13, 1951, in Orangeburg, South Carolina, the son of Marie Shaw Palmer. Joseph was a loving father to his three children that he loved so very much. His life lessons will continue to guide them from the heavens. Most important to his heart was his two grandsons'. He enjoyed spending time with them, playing cops and robbers and taking trips to the park. He will continue to watch over and guide them as well. His consort, Miss Pam was with him to the end. Joseph loved her and she loved him.

Joseph was called to be with the Lord on May 6, 2023, at 7:59pm at the Ohio State University Hospital North, after a long eight-year fight with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, (COPD). Joseph was able to make all decisions regarding his health. He is now in heaven with his mother Marie Shaw Palmer, sisters Annie Shaw and Deborah Shaw, brother William Shaw, and his children's mother Valerie Sue Green, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by his sons, Anthony L Green and Joseph F. Green, Jr (Erica Morris); daughter, Kadedra Green Omobola (Ayorinde); siblings, Carol Shaw Dabo, Tony Shaw and Timothy Shaw, Sr.; grandchildren, Keyon D. Green and Demanye R. Mobley; consort, Miss Pam; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
