Josephine Vivian (Ray) Smith

Josephine Vivian Smith, age 82, went home to the Lord Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Mt. Carmel East Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She was born July 10, 1929 in Fort Worth, Texas and worked for many years providing care and supervision to children both in her home and in her community. She leaves to cherish her memory, five generations including her three children, John L. Moore, Royce Penny Hill, and Arlette Moore Davis (Earl Davis); six grandchildren, Donnettia Adams (Terry Jackson), Lakeyche' Farrar, Cavornia (Anthony) Elmore, Shuntonyala Tonya Farrar, Antwan Walker, and LaShara Moore; nine great grandchildren, Brent Hall, Jr., Zadric Walker, Deylon (Sierra) Watson, Kirk Bias III, Andrielle MeMe Scott, LaQuandra Adams, Keystan Francis, Keion Bias, and Terrell Jackson; and five great-great grandchildren, Zyneah Walker, Caden Hall, Kaniya Hicks, Elijah Walker, and Deliah Watson. Additionally, Josephine is survived by three sisters, Lerhu (Joe Bob) Brown, Leslie (Bobby) Livingston, and Vivian (Melvin) Pogue; and many other dear relatives and friends.
