Joyce Ann Birdsall

Joyce Ann Birdsall was born July 17, 1942 to Dorothy and Ernest Birdsall in Raleigh, North Carolina. A loving and devoted mother, Joyce worked at Borden’s Dairy for years. She then went to work for Schottenstein’s from which she retired. Joyce enjoyed dancing, solving word search puzzles, and watching sporting events, especially Pittsburgh Steelers games. She also loved nature, reading her Bible, and participating in Bible study sessions at Stratford. On January 3, 2018, at the age of 75, Joyce went home to be with the Lord. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Peggy Jean Harrison-Walker, aunt Lilian Owens, and cousin Robert McNeil. Left to cherish memories of Joyce include her son Dorsey (Carole) Birdsall; two special grandchildren, Dominique and Khaliyah; two nieces, Vanessa R. Birdsall-Russell and LaShawna Ernest Day; and a host of extended family and friends.
