Juanita Ann Futch

Juanita A. Futch, affectionately known as (Nete), daughter of the late William and Alice Johnson was born on September 8, 1933. Juanita's life journey ended on December 17, 2021 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, when she was called home to be with the Lord. Juanita attended Columbus Public Schools and graduated from Central High School. Later in life, she attended Professional Business School (PBS) in Brooklyn, New York where she received certification in IBM Key Punch. Juanita loved children and babysit for many mothers allowing them to work, knowing their children were well taken care of. Juanita accepted Christ at an early age and was baptised at Calvary Tremont Baptist Church, where she sang in the junior choir. She later joined United Faith international Baptist Church. During her time at United Faith International (UFI) Baptist Church, she served on numerous committees where she worked tirelessly in whatever capacity you asked of her. She was a part of the Westside Ministry team for many years, a faithful member of the Sister to Sister Women's Ministry, an integral part of the Kitchen committee, and a Vacation Bible School teacher where she taught Kindergarten classes. She loved teaching the children about Jesus and even joined them in doing the hoola hoop 😊. Preceeded in death by her parents, William and Alice Johnson, husband, Samuel Futch (for whom she was married to for over 35 years), brother, Randolph Little, son, Robert Johnson. Juanita leaves to cherish her memory a loving daughter, Peggy Bryant, sister, Barbara (John) Cox, grandchildren, Annie Johnson, Johnny Johnson, Robert (Julia) Johnson, Ronald (Keisha) Tyler, James Tyler, LeVar Thompson, Angela Bryant. Along with a host of great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.
