Juanita Bernice Seward

uanita Bernice Seward (Nita), age 95, was called home to be with the Lord on July 1, 2018. A lifelong resident of the Hilltop in Columbus, Ohio, Juanita retired from the City of Columbus Division of Water in 1987. She was a long time member of the Second Community Church, an avid bowler, a devoted mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel Seward, father, John L. Brown, her mother, Florence I Brown, her sisters Beatrice Brown, Dorothy Gaskins, and Victoria Brown and her brothers Orestes Brown and Delmar Brown; her stepson, Nathaniel E. Seward, her stepdaughter, Donna Jones, and her grandchildren, Robert Anderson, Robert Jones and Anthony J. Seward. Juanita is survived by her son, Carlton W. Seward (Marianne), her daughter, Kathy N. Northern, her step-daughter, Sandra Winston, her grand-children Carlton Seward, Jamie Seward, Michael Northern, Christiana Northern, Heather Seward Beynen-Kane, Natalie Seward Reynolds, Larraine Seward, Jack Anderson and James Anderson and a host of other family and friends.
