Juanita Moore

Juanita White Marshall Moore went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 6, 2023. She was born March 23, 1925, in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of Harrison E. and Edna H. White. Juanita graduated from Schenley High School. She accepted Jesus Christ in her life at an early age. She married Daniel F. Marshall in 1944 and they had five children. Juanita was a licensed practical nurse. After many years widowed she married Charles Moore in 1975. She operated a personal care home for 12 years. She retired after 22 years from Family Children Services as an administrator. In, 2010 Juanita self-published her first book, “From the Window of My Heart.”

Juanita leaves to cherish her memory her three children, Daniel H. Marshall, Gwendolyn (Lynwood) Douthett and Danita (Howard) Williams; brother Howard L. (Jimmie) White; step children Marsha Moore Reed, Charlotte Moore, and Michael Moore; grandchildren Daniel (Marci) Douthett; Lynwood Douthett II; Howard Williams II; great grandchildren Daniel M. Douthett, Victoria Douthett, Elijah Douthett, Isaiah Douthett, Isabella Douthett, Mya and Mileena Douthett and a host of nieces, cousins and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Harrison E. White, Jr.
