Judith Schuyler (Brown) Lymor was called home to eternal rest with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 5, 2021. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ernest and Fannie Hayes and Clarence and Beatrice Brown; parents, James and Evelyn (Hayes) Brown Lucas; brother-in-law, Arthur L. Banks; and son in law, William Anderson. She was born April 25, 1945, to James and Evelyn Brown in Columbus, Ohio. She was baptized at an early age at First A.M.E. Zion Baptist Church. She was former member of St. Phillips Episcopal Church on Woodland Avenue where she sang in the choir. Judith graduated from East High School in 1962 and attended The Ohio State University for two years. She was previously married to Howard Lymor and they raised 2 children. She retired from DSCC/DFAS with 25 years of service as an administrative assistant in 2007. She was an avid resume writer and loved to read, do word searches, and watch CNN, MSNBC, Jeopardy and The Ohio State University and Cleveland Browns football. Judith is survived by her son, Donald (Beverly) Lymor, of Akron, Ohio; grandson, Blake Lymor, of Akron, OH; daughter, Camille Anderson of Columbus, Ohio; brother, James ( Sherrie) Brown, of Cleveland, Ohio; sisters, Deborah (Raymond) Crittenden, of Fairfax, VA, Susan Banks, of Columbus, Ohio; nieces and nephews, Joye Saunders, Eric (Noni) Banks and Tanya Banks of Columbus, Ohio, James Brown IV, of Sanford, FL, Alesha (Leonard) Edwards, of Cleveland, Ohio, Raymond Crittenden IV, of Miami, FL, Monica (James) Walker, of Fairfax, VA, Derrick Crittenden, of Newport News, VA; and many great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Beginning at 10:00am, doors will open for a walk-through viewing. For the mutual wellness and respect of those present, all visitors are asked to wear an appropriate face covering, apply an alcohol-based hand sanitizer spray upon entry, and maintain proper distancing according to current public health guidelines. We encourage you to utilize Judith's memorial celebration wall to view her video tribute, send flowers and post an expression of sympathy and support for the family. A receptacle will also be available for on-site collection of sympathy cards and condolence letters.
