Julia B Richardson

JULIA B. RICHARDSON, age sixty-four, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at her home in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. She was predeceased by her parents, Roosevelt and Elizabeth Richardson; brother, James “Jimmy” Richardson; sister, Darlene Richardson; grandparents, Claybourne and Doshia Adams; and dear friend, Carol Bryant. She is survived by her loving children, Skylar Finn and Jerica Richardson; grandchildren, Edward Martin Jr. and Cayenne Martin; her brothers, William (Norma) Richardson, Roosevelt “Junebug” Richardson, Theodore “Teddy” (Jackie) Richardson, and Adrian Richardson; sisters, Marlene Fenderson, Doshia Richardson, Luma Richardson; sister-in-law, Dorothy Richardson; fifteen nephews; nine nieces, that she absolutely adored; a host of cousins that includes Julia Ann Tucker; close cousin, Cathy Tucker; a host of great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews that spent a lot of time with her; Jacqueline Armstrong, who she loved as a sister; Winter Adams and her nurse, Nada Mohamed, whom she loved like a daughter; other family members and dear friends. Julia was born Saturday, June 15, 1957. She attended Columbus City Schools, worked at Wendy’s, and The State of Ohio Department of Mental Health. She loved spending time with her family, traveling, and sharing the gospel. Julia had a contagious smile that would lift anyone that was feeling low. If her smile or jokes didn’t work, she would pray for the person. Julia looked for opportunities to share her love for God and her family. Julia will be missed by her family and friends for her laughter, her words of encouragement, and her love for Christ.
