Julia Carter Pearson

Julia Carter Pearson, age 87, born August 18, 1924 in Chattanooga, TN, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Isabelle Ridgway Care Center. Her many community interests included the Columbus Bar Association Women’s Auxiliary, Columbus March of Dimes, and the Columbus Museum of Art Auxiliary; Beaux Arts. Preceded in death by parents, Julian and Pauline Carter, brother Julian of Chattanooga, and husband Judge James A. Pearson. Survived by four children, Cynthia, James (Valerie), Gregory, and Steven; sister Roslyn Carter Holland of Las Vegas, NV; ten grandchildren, three nieces, a nephew, and numerous other relatives and friends. Graveside Service 12 noon, Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Green Lawn Cemetery, 1000 Greenlawn Avenue. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Central Ohio Chapter of The Alzheimer’s Association.
