Julian Christopher Blakey was born on December 28, 1992 in Columbus, Ohio to Denise L. Herring and Terrance Blakey Sr. He graduated from Marion-Franklin High School where he excelled in football. He was a mentor to the under classmen and a great leader on and off the football field. Julian was accepted to Ohio State University - Newark, on a full football scholarship. If you knew Julian, then you knew you were bound to have a friend for life; no questions asked. He was the life of the party; and he loved his family and friends. He was an excellent father and made sure everybody knew about his precious Juliana. Julian passed away on October 9, 2011. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eddie C. and Sharon D. Herring. He is survived by his mother, Denise Herring and Keith A. Brown; girlfriend, Yketia Stromer; daughter, Juliana Blakey; his brothers, Justice Brown-Herring, Jaron Brown and Terrance Blakey Jr.; sisters, Jassmine Coleman, Torae Coleman, London Blakey, Terra Blakey and Lataisha Hardy; uncle, Edward Bradshaw; aunt, Crystal Jackson; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
