Kaewaun Dellis Coleman

Kaewaun Dellis Coleman was born November 22, 1997 to Erma N. Clary and Kascal D. Coleman in Detroit, Michigan. He departed this life on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. At an early age, Kaewaun moved with his family to Columbus and, in 2010, he was baptized at Northeast Baptist Church, along with his brother Kyrell. As a student in the Columbus City school district, Kaewaun maintained good grades and enjoyed attending the Linden-McKinley Stem Academy, where he was enrolled as a nineth grader. He enjoyed dancing, rapping, playing video games and basketball. Over the years, Kaewaun received several trophies and ribbons for playing basketball, and he had future aspirations to join his high school team. He also loved spending time with his family, especially during birthday parties and holiday gatherings when a Soul Train line was guaranteed to be a part of the festivities. Those who remain to cherish memories of Kaewaun, include his mother Erma; father Kascal; stepfather Stephen Stinson; brothers, Kascal, Kyrell, Kazion, and Keontez; sister Shariante; grandparents, Loreather Tellis-Armour and Curtis L. Armour, Sr.; aunts Winona Tellis and Tomecca (Damon) Russell; uncle Curtis (Stephanie) Armour; great aunts, Shirley and Barbara Armour, Martha, Carolyn, Susan, Ann, Phyllis, and Annette; great uncles, Alfred Jr., Emmett, Gregory, Larry, and Michael (Linda) Armour, Sylvester, Guy, Henry, Phillip, and Gerome; godmother Angel Leonard; cousin Gianni; and a host of other relatives and friends.
