Karl E. Peak

Karl (Buddy) Eugene Peak was born to the late George Bowman and Muriel (Adam) Bowman on February 12, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio. He entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Fairview Grace Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. Karl is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Raymond, George and Willard and a special aunt Mildred Williams. Karl married Ellen (Searcy) Peak on September 17, 1977 and to this union was born two devoted sons, Kavis Karlando and Kendall Rumeal. He professed his belief in God early in his life – and worshipped Jehovah. Karl was educated in the Columbus Public School System and graduated from Linden McKinley High School in 1972. He received the Trade and Service Certification for Auto Mechanic on June 13, 1972. He attended The Ohio University and received a two year associate degree in Applied Science on Nov. 21, 1984. He received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from DeVry Institute of Technology on June 19, 1998. Karl was employed for 38 years with the IBM Corporation. He leaves to cherish his memory: a loving and devoted wife, Ellen, two devoted and loving sons, Kavis and Kendall of Westerville, Ohio. His sisters, Betty Ellen, Winola, Earnestine, Jessie Mae and Joanne (Matthew). One loving brother Wayne, his mother-in-law Margaret Mann of Thomaston, Georgia. His precious aunts Dorothy and Essie. Two uncles, Ralph and Wendall, sister-in-law Joanne Campbell (West) of Thomaston, Georgia and brother-in-law Ellis Searcy (Wynida) of Columbus, Ohio. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins that he deeply adored and loved. A special friend “like a brother” John Evans and a host of other relatives and friends.
