Katherine C. Pritchett

Katherine Cornelius Pritchett (nee. Priestly), 85, daughter of Bernice Nina Priestly (deceased), left this realm of existence and has gone to be with the Lord Jesus Christ, Saturday, July 19, 2014. Mom was born August 15, 1928 in Evansville, Indiana, but raised in Princeton. She had five brothers, all of whom have preceded her in death: James (Cynthia, Lakonda, Gail, Mark), Burniss (Stephanie, Patricia, Eric (d)), Sylvanious (Portia, Nina, McCoy), Virgil (Virgil Jr., Robert, Beatrice, Connie), and Leanard (Marvin, Delphine). Katherine was married to Robert Lee Pritchett until his death January 17, 1997, for 46 years. She is survived by all of her children: Robert Allen Pritchett (Ida Joyce:- Robert II, Christopher Shawn), Karen Alisha Pritchett Davis (Aaron, Cornelius, Talia), David Leon Pritchett (Wanda:- Shanell // D’Andre, Daudi, December, Dominique, Justin), Judy Ann Mundy (Chester:- Candice), Marlene Louise Pritchett-Perry (Daniel:- Carmaleah, Jovaugny, Maurice), Amber Kay Craig (Jimmy:- Antionette, Adam, Nelson), and many Grandchildren Great Grandchildren.Sister Pritchett had a deep and profound love for the Lord Jesus who strengthened her, was a faithful member of “Higher Ground Always Abounding” Church for more than 40 years, serving as a Minister and Missionary, establishing their food pantry, and a Mother of the Church: mentoring members, children, youth, and strangers. She loved family, life, and travel. She retired from Mount Carmel Hospital after more than 20 years of service as a Nurse Assistant and Monitor Tech.
