Katie Mae Davis

Katie Mae Davis was the third child born out of 10 to Archie and Ada (Billingsley) Davis on March 10, 1945 in Florence Mississippi. She was educated in Rankin County Public Schools. Katie was a career cook for a number of companies including The Ohio Department of Corrections. Katie loved cooking and was very good at it. Katie also had a very special green thumb and loved to tend to her plants. She was also a die hard Cleveland Browns fans, win or lose. Katie moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and later relocated to Columbus, Ohio. On March 21, 2019, Katie transitioned to Heaven. She is proceded in death her parents, children Ada Mae Davis, and Lucy Davis, sister Deloris Davis Carter, brother’s Clem (Pister) Davis, Howard Davis, Wallace Davis, Vernon Davis, Charles Davis, and two great grandchildren. Katie is survived by her son, Michael T. Davis; daughter, Mildred (John Earl) Winston; sister, Prim Rose Davis; brother’s Leon (Shirley) Davis, and Herman (Delphine) Davis; grandchildren, Tasha (John) Knight, Monica Davis, Shenita (Gabriel) Ates, Rhonda Davis, Jasmine Howard, Regina Davis, Reggie Davis, Anthony White, Alicia Robinson, Michelle Robinson, and Kenan Ferebee; 26 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
