Kay Frances Coleman Redman was born on September 25,. 1937 in Columbus, Ohio. Kay was a member of First Church of God under the leadership of Bishop Timothy J. Clarke. She attended Garfield Elementary School, Champion Junior High School, East High School, Poro School of Cosmetology and Columbus State (CTI). Kay was unable to complete her education at the appointed time, however, through persistence, she not only received her GED, she attended Columbus Stat University (CTI) in childhood education. Kay was multitalented. She could sew, crochet and paint, but most of all, she love bingo and black jack. She also enjoyed dancing and a good party. Kay is preceded in death by her father, Willy Lee Coleman; mother, Thessalonia; grandmother, Marie Mosley; and husband, Earl Julius Redman. She leaves behind to cherish her memories: her sons, Terry Lee (Clara) Coleman, Earl (Marcella) Redman, Jr. and Mark Anthony (Jana) Cardwell; and daughters, Melissa Earlene Redman and Toni Faye Crump; grandchildren, John W. Sutton, Monica A. Redman, Earl M. Redman, Iantha E. Redman Nelson, Erick S. Redman, Chauntelle Folds, Brandon Crump, Toniqua Crump, Jaymes Crump, Matthew Cardwell, and Cherish Cardwell; and host of great grandchildren, family and friends.

Beginning at 1:00 PM, doors will open for a walk-through viewing with staggered admission of up to 10 people at a time. For the mutual wellness and respect of those present, all visitors are asked to wear an appropriate face covering, apply an alcohol-based hand sanitizer spray upon entry, and maintain proper distancing according to current public health guidelines. We encourage you to utilize Kay's memorial celebration wall to view her video tribute, send flowers and post an expression of sympathy and support for the family. A receptacle will also be available for on-site collection of sympathy cards and condolence letters.
