Keith S. Deja

Keith Deja was born January 7, 1952 in Columbus, Ohio to Andrew and Benetta Chandler Donaldson. A graduate of East High School and Capital University, Keith was a retired teacher who taught in Columbus as well as in Union City, California. On Saturday, August 5, 2017, at the age of 65, our beloved brother, uncle, nephew, and friend, Keith Deja, passed away unexpectedly in his Columbus residence. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Marc A. Donaldson, and a host of beloved aunts and uncles. Those who remain to cherish memories of Keith include his sister Benin Dakar (Marcia); uncle Benjamin H. Chandler, Jr. (Lynnell); niece Dr. Maleka Donaldson; great niece Naomi Gramling; sister-in-law Cynthia Donaldson; special cousins, Jodi and Aidan Blacksher; cousins, Ron (Vickii) Newnham and Angelita Hughes; dear friends, Dwight Bolen and Mary McClendon; and a host of family and friends. Keith was an eternal optimist and his positive outlook touched many lives. He will be sadly missed. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory can be made to the Capital University Education Dept.
