Keith Watson Rudd

Keith W. Rudd, age 66, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2012 after a year-long battle with cancer. Keith was born on April 24, 1946 in Springfield, OH., and graduated from Cathedral Latin High School in Cleveland, OH. He attended The Ohio State University, and retired from Ohio Bell/Ameritech after 20+ years. Keith married Charlotte Johnson in 1970, and this union gave him a daughter. In 1985, Keith married Katie Hairston; their union gave him three step sons. Keith was predeceased by his parents, Benjamin Rudd, Jr. and Marion Rudd; and nephew, Mahdi Rasheed. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Toyia, of Oak Park, IL; sons, Michael James Hairston, Jeffrey Hairston, and Justin Hairston; brother, Kareem Rasheed; and sister-in-law, Johnetta, of Cleveland, OH; three grandchildren; and nieces and nephew, Monica Smith, Nicole Swayne, and Zaki Means.
