Kenneth Leandre Ferguson

Kenneth L. Ferguson, “Key”, age 30, a wonderful, gratuitous son, brother, grandson, uncle, fiance, stepfather, cousin, nephew and friend went home to the Lord Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Ohio State University Hospital. He was born November 9, 1979 to Terri Lynn Coleman and Kenneth I. Ferguson in Columbus, OH, and was a baptized member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church. Kenneth was a 1998 honors graduate from Independence High School, Columbus, OH and graduated from the Technology Education College with honors May 14, 2004, receiving an Associate's Degree in Engineering Drafting/CAD Science. He was predeceased by his mother, Terri Lynn Coleman; and grandparents, Irwin and Lugenia Ferguson. Kenneth leaves to cherish his memory his father, Kenneth I. Ferguson; grandmother, Shirley A. Coleman, of Indianapolis, IN; fiancé, Davina Carpenter; stepdaughter, Kayla Carpenter; sister, Crystal Ferguson Coleman; brother, Jaden Ferguson; nieces, Dinika Williamson and Krystal Collins; great niece, Diamond Forest; nephews, Robert Williamson and Rodriquez Williams; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends. Funeral service 12:00 noon Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at the St. Paul A.M.E. Church, 639 E. Long St., Rev. Michael Bean, officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Tuesday, 11:00 AM until the start of services. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
