Kenny Rashawn Thomas

Kenny Rashawn Thomas was born March 19, 1990 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Kevin Thomas and Jerriann Sellers. Kenny accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Apostolic Faith Temple. Kenny was a charming young man with a unique sense of humor and bright smile that could always warm your heart. He attended Pilgrim Elementary School, Franklin Alternative Middle School and Focus Learning Academy High School. He was a highly skilled football player, playing running back, defensive end and outside linebacker with his twin brother Keith and their father as the coach. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye and Minnesota Vikings fan. He worked in Sales where he was able to share his great personality and “work his mouthpiece” as he would say. He loved to promote the music of local artists including his brother Keith. Kenny was the funniest dude you will ever meet. He kept everybody laughing with a big bright smile on his face. He was always happy to give his time to help anyone in need. He had a big heart and was eager to give love to all he encountered. He was a good person and wanted everyone to win. Kenny Rashawn Thomas, age 30, of Columbus, Ohio made his final journey home on Tuesday, September 16, 2020 after a short illness. Preceded in death by his Grandfather Jerry Green and Great-Grandparents, Curtis and Arvella Thomas. Kenny leaves to cherish his precious memories his father Kevin (Carol) Thomas, mother Jerriann Sellers, grandparents - Clara Thomas and Annette Green, twin brother and best friend Keith Thomas, sisters – Janae and Brianna Sellers, brothers - Kevin and Cameron Thomas, and brother Isaiah Davis, and many loving and devoted aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Kenny’s memory will forever live on in our hearts and we will always carry his spirit with us. He is truly loved and will be deeply missed.
