Kente L. Binford II began his life on October 10, 2005 and his journey peacefully ended on December 20, 2020. Kente was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio and was better known as Te or Tater to his family and friends. He was a Freshman at New Albany High School where he excelled academically. Kente was known for his homemade recipes and he loved cooking for his family. He was a true fan of the OSU basketball and football teams and the Dallas Cowboys. He also took great pleasure in watching WWE Wrestling. Kente loved to travel, and he was able to visit many places on family vacations. He enjoyed family game nights and playing video games. Throughout his journey he came across many trials, but Kente endured it all without complaining and always kept a smile on his face. Whenever asked “how are you doing?”, his response would always be, “I’m good!” His strength and courage touched so many lives. Kente will always be our hero. Left to cherish his memories of are his parents, Tiffany Watkins and Kente (Michelle) Binford; siblings, Aaliyah Binford, Kaila Swan, Le’anna Smith and Jadyen Smith; grandparents, Gregory and Deborah Watkins, Marybelle Binford and In Cha Howell; niece, Milan Barlow; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is predeceased by grandparents William E. Binford and Harry M. Howell.
