Kenton A. Hill

Kenton Arméd Hill, age 34, of Columbus, passed away January 14, 2016. He was born to Shelia Wilson and Kent L. Hill on May 25, 1981. Kenton grew up in East Columbus and attended Independence High School. A very talented artist, he attended Columbus College of Art and Design. Kenton worked for Walgreens for 15 years rising to the rank of manager. Even during his illness, he tried to work. He remained a loyal employee until he had to leave due to disability. On December 25, 2015, Kenton proposed to his beautiful fiancée, Jennifer Moore, of course she said yes. Kenton was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Mattie Hill; uncles, Aaron Hamilton and Kevin Hill; aunt, Kathy Hill; and best friend, Jallah Gray. He is survived by his mother, Shelia Wilson; father, Kent (Belinda) Hill; brother, Brian; fiancée, Jennifer Moore; extended siblings, Cordell and Monique; maternal grandmother, Mary Hamilton; uncles, Jan (Meriam)Hamilton, Timothy Hamilton, Keith Hill, Geoffrey Marsh; aunts, Teresa Hamilton, Grace Scales, Sandy (Billy) Anderson, and Kathleen Hill; special friends, John Hairston and Rick Robinson; many cousins and friends. Family will receive friends beginning at 1pm on Thursday, January 21, 2016 in the chapel at DIEHL-WHITTAKER FUNERAL SERVICE, 720 E.
