Kevin Christopher Chapman

Kevin Christopher Chapman was born on March 14, 1983, in Columbus, Ohio. He was the eldest of three (3) children born to William and Deborah Chapman. He departed this life on Thursday, February 9, 2012. Kevin received his formal education in the Columbus City School System and was a graduate of Brookhaven High School and the Eastland Career Center, where he studied as an Electrical Apprentice with aspirations of becoming an electrician like his grandfather. At an early age, Kevin gave his life to the Lord and was baptized at Rock of Faith Baptist Church. He was involved in the Choir, Usher Board and Children’s Church Ministries. He later transitioned his membership to the Xenos Church where he became involved in the youth ministry and was passionate about witnessing to others. He was employed as a technician with WOW Digital Cable. During his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, wrestling and video games. Kevin had many passions, but his greatest passion was his family and friends. He was uniquely Kevin. His quiet gentle smile would fill any room. Many have been blessed by his gift of giving, his compassionate spirit, honesty and integrity. Love is his legacy and his smile will remain with us forever…..He will be truly missed! Left to cherish precious memories of Kevin are his mother Deborah Chapman; father William Chapman; brother Brandon Chapman; sister Arielle Chapman; niece Bella Chapman; brothers, Phillip, Kenneth and Keith Chapman; godparents Elder Peter and Deborrah James; god brothers Peter and Clinton James; special friends Dominique Carlisle and Michael Newton; godson A'Milyon Newton; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
