Kevin Lamar Morgan

Kevin Lamar Morgan went home to be with the Lord on March 28, 2011 in Loma Linda, California. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on November 4, 1969 and moved to Los Angeles, CA in 1990. Kevin L. Morgan was saved at an early age under the Pastor of Elder Dane Clark. Kevin had faith in the Lord and loved the Lord. Kevin L. Morgan was a loving son, brother, father, husband, protector and a mentor to many. He was active in the community, church, had a passion for music and was the lead drummer for The Greater Light House Temple apostolic church of God. Kevin attended the Northeast Career center as a youth in Columbus, Ohio and was enrolled in the Law and Public Safety technical education program and aspired to pursue a future career in law enforcement. Kevin loved his daughter, and family very dearly and strived to keep people joyous and laughing. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Minor-Morgan, and their daughter, Ahmarie Morgan of Los Angeles, CA; Father and Mother, Ralph and Fonda Morgan; Grandfather, Reverend Samuel Hope; One brother, Roshan (Stephanie) Morgan; two sisters, Michelle Morgan and Natasha Turner; nephews, Miles Turner and Roshan Morgan, Jr.; Nieces, Nadja Morgan, Indigo Turner, and Destiny Turner, all from Columbus and Dayton, OH; Aunt and Uncles, Robert “Bobby” Rose, (Rev. Joe) Sheila Robinson from Flint, MI, (Melvin) Janice Massey and Jean Hope from Columbus, OH, (Lewis) Linda Price, Indianapolis, IN, Glenn (Jackie) Morgan from Atlanta, GA, Maryanne Lockett and family from Florida; Cousin, Devon, Joe Jr., and Aaron Robinson all from Flint, MI, and Marty, Terry, and Paula Massey from Columbus, OH; and a multitude of friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Loretta E. Hope and Gerard and Katherine Morgan, Aunt, Millicent McCampbell, and Cousin, Vincent Price.
