Kim Marie Gray was born December 8, 1958 in Columbus, Ohio. She was a 1976 graduate of Marion Franklin High School. Employed by Nationwide Children's Hospital as a Home Healthcare Aide, Kim attended Southfield Missionary Baptist Church and was a retired, Life Member of Blues Elite Motorcycle and Social Club. Kim was also known as “Heavy K” in the club circles and by many of her close friends and loved ones. On December 11, 2017, just a few days after her 59th birthday, Kim departed this life while surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her sons, DeWayne Edward Gray and DeShawn Roberts, parents, Lawrence Edward Gray and Anita Gray, sister Andretta Bondurant, nephew Kevin Bondurant, and dear friends, Sandra Vaughn, Willie White, and Gloria Garmany. Those who remain to cherish memories of Kim include her daughters, Vernitra Gray (Keith) and Kevina Gray (Sean); stepchildren, Tarsha Hollingsworth, Yolanda Raglin (and children), and Shawn Cook; sister Arnetta (Ed) Lindsey; daughter-in-law Kimberly Osborne; grandchildren, Chazz', Monee', Chanel, Chelsii, Olajawon, Chris, Alicia, Ameen, DeShaun, Deven, and Sir Chazz'; great grandchildren, Dominic Jr., Zakaria, and Jaden; nephews, Eric (Alyssa) Lindsey and Brett Lindsey; extended family, Wayne Strum, Akilah Smith-Lee, Atonia Bailey, Shayna McLemore, Keisha Bates, Mona Lisa Webb, and Genetta Stroud; special friends, Debbie Peak, Denise Hale, “Bellew” Lewis, Timothy Davis, Chuck Ferguson, Karen McLemore, and Shannon Savage; a host of other relatives and friends.
