Konni Renee Fleming

Konni Renee Fleming was born on February 9, 1964 to Morris and Shirley Gay Pollard in Columbus, Ohio. Konni was a member of The Greater Bethlehem Temple Church under the leadership of Pastor David E. Norman. Konni attended Columbus Public Schools and graduated from Northland High School in 1982. She was a Head start teacher at Camaco for eighteen years and she received her C.D.A. from Columbus State College. In Konni's past time, she enjoyed playing Bingo, Pitty Pat and Mario. Konni departed this life on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Grant Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Fleming; son, Anthony Pollard; and brother, Kevin Pollard. She is survived by her daughter, Tamia Pollard; sons, Desean (Marilyn), Antwon, and Donald (Taletha) Pollard, all of Columbus, Ohio; brother, Ronald (Mischelle) Pollard, Steve Pollard, and Lemanuel (Shenise) Wright, all of Columbus, Ohio; sisters, Caryl Johnson, of Sacramento, California, Janet Pollard, Evg. Marcia Glass and Vicki Hardy, all from Columbus, Ohio; seven grandsons; seven granddaughters; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Beginning at 1:00 pm, doors will open for a walk-through viewing with staggered admission of up to 10 people at a time. For the mutual wellness and respect of those present, all visitors are asked to wear an appropriate face covering, apply an alcohol-based hand sanitizer spray upon entry, and maintain proper distancing according to current public health guidelines. We encourage you to utilize Konni's memorial celebration wall to view her video tribute, send flowers and post an expression of sympathy and support for the family. A receptacle will also be available for on-site collection of sympathy cards and condolence letters.
