He enjoyed traveling with his mom and they would have numerous trips. Kano said it was her and him against the world! Kano joined the United States Army at a young age and was extremely proud of his service. He received an honorable discharge in 1998 after completing his term. Just shy of 2 years married they were together for almost 5 years. It wasn’t long enough. They planned to spend the rest of their lives together and would joke about how long each of them had to stick around. Lamar Kano Johnson was loyal, kind, intelligent, hardworking, charismatic and funny. Anyone that knew him would tell you that. He prided himself on always keeping his word and taking care of his family. He was the man that would sing to his daughters’ cat and yell at the tv when the Dallas Cowboys would play. He loved anime and kung fu movies and working with his hands. He spent free time listening to music and playing video games and watching movies with the family.
