Larry Joseph Wilson

On Tuesday, April 12, 2021, Larry Joseph Wilson, Sr. passed away at the age of 81 surrounded by family. Born October 22, 1939 in Asheville, NC, he was the ninth of ten children, born to James and Ruth Wilson. Larry received his Engineering degree from Franklin University and his MBA from Central Michigan University. Larry was a retiree of the Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) where he was employed for over 30 years, and he honorably served in the United States Army. Larry is survived by wife Latricia Wilson, daughters Shawna Wilson of Dallas, TX, Penni Dejarnett of Columbus, OH, son Larry Wilson, Jr. (Amberia), daughter Mary Wilson, both of Dallas, TX, sisters Harriett Danner of Asheville, NC and Daisy Jones of Columbus, OH, 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Beginning at 1-1:30pm, doors will open for a walk-through viewing. For the mutual wellness and respect of those present, all visitors are asked to wear an appropriate face covering, apply an alcohol-based hand sanitizer spray upon entry, and maintain proper distancing according to current public health guidelines. We encourage you to utilize Larry's memorial celebration wall to view his video tribute, send flowers and post an expression of sympathy and support for the family. A receptacle will also be available for on-site collection of sympathy cards and condolence letters.
