With a heavy heart, we announce that Larry Powell passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 26, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. He has joined his beloved wife, Helen Marcella Powell.

Larry was born on December 17, 1934. He was a retired skilled handyman and craftsman. He was quick-witted and loved to shoot pool and travel. He enjoyed watching football. He served in the United States Army and Air Force. He was generous and always willing to help anyone. He was loved by many who will cherish his memory. He will truly be missed.

Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral at Diehl-Whittaker Funeral Service at 1370 E. Main St., Columbus, Ohio, Monday, May 6, 2024. Visitation will begin at 10:00am followed immediately by the service at 11:00am.
