Lee Esther (Patrick) Crouch

Lee Esther Crouch, 76, departed this life on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Isabelle Ridgway Care Center. Born and reared in Roanoke, VA, where she received her primary education, Lee came to Columbus to attend The Ohio State University, where she met her husband. She retired from the State of Ohio, Bureau of Workers' Compensation and was a member of First A.M.E. Zion Church. Lee's greatest joy was providing loving care for her children and family. She will be missed by all who were positively affected by her beautiful smile and friendly demeanor. Preceded in death by parents, Queen Esther and Linwood Patrick, Sr., brothers, Linwood Jr., George Sr., John, Berlean, and Daniel Patrick, Sr., and sisters Maggie Patrick and Izetta Hughes. Survived by husband Maurice Crouch, Sr.; sons, Maurice Jr. (Shery), Douglas (Tonya), Vincent (Heline), and Eric Crouch; brother Bertram (Betty) Patrick; sister Vera Patrick Hendricks; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Homegoing Celebration 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at First A.M.E. Zion Church, 873 Bryden Road, where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the start of service.
