Lemuel B. Jackson, Sr. was born on October 2, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio to Mother, Nettie Ballard and Father, Robert Jackson. After graduating from Central High School, Lemuel joined the United States Army where he served in the combat medical unit. He later retired from American Broning after 38 years of employment. Lemuel was a dedicated Cleveland Browns fan. He loved taking walks in the park enjoying nature and loving life. On February 27, 2019, Lemuel was called home to be with the Lord. He is preceded in death by his wife of 44 years Frances E. Jackson, mother Nettie Ballard, father Robert Jackson, brother Cornelius Jackson, sister Sandra Jackson, brother’s-in-law Thomas Bailey, Horace White, Robert Lane, George Lane, and William Bailey, sister’s-in-law Paralee Williams, Ruby Cook Norwood, Nora Black, Fannie Cunningham, Mattie Swanson, Louise Warmach and Annie Mae Bailey. Lemuel leaves to cherish his memory his son, Lemuel B. (Contina) Jackson, Jr.; brother’s, Robert Jackson and Raymond (Victoria) Jackson; sister’s-in-law, Erma General, Maary Ann Johnson, Lora Hughes, Margaret Penmark, Eunice Burk, Hannah (William) Pack and Grace Grace; grandchildren, Lemuel III, Jordan, Isaiah, Chloe, Keshawna, Olando, Omar (Dashe), and Onae; seven great grandchildren and Cali Jackson. He will be deeply Missed!!
