Leroy Starks

Leroy Starks, was born on November 29, 1960 in Youngstown, Ohio. He passed away on November 13, 2013 in Columbus, OH. He attended Rayens High School in Youngstown and he was employed at JD United Foods, in Youngstown and at Dick Mashetters in Columbus, OH. On March 25, 2009, he married Sharilille (Lilly) Thomas, in Youngstown. He was a Baptist; and attended Church of God in Christ in Youngstown. His hobbies were fishing, model planes and riding his bicycle. He was a very good mechanic; a loving husband, father and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Betsie Mae (Jordan) Starks; brother, Russell Starks and sister, Mary Alice Starks. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Lilly; daughter, Jasmine Ranee Starks; stepdaughter, Salvina Natal Knox and stepson, Anthony La’Mar McPeters; brothers, Norman Starks, Lewis (Mann) Wesley and Ricky Jackson; sisters, Lynette and Veronica Wesley and Sherry Nall; a host of nieces and nephews; special friends, Mooda, Shederick Jones Jr. and Akim Lattermore.
