Leslie Allen Lofton, age 53, also known as “Les”, was born in Wichita Falls, TX at the USAF Sheppard Hospital on December 25, 1963 to Harrison and Mattie Louise (Dilliard) Lofton. Les was a 1982 graduate of Eastmoor Senior High School. He also majored in Accounting at Southeast Career Center, during his junior and senior years. Les later served in the Army Reserve, where he was awarded an Army Service Ribbon for being a Marksman and Grenade expert. He also worked for the State of Ohio, and as a CDL Driver for Swift Transportation. Les had a passion for animals; he had six dogs: Drake, Shadow, Pepper, Hope, Duce, and Diamond. Les would do whatever he could to help others. Les suddenly departed this life on July 21, 2017. Les is preceded in death by his parents, Harrison and Mattie Louise (Dillard) Lofton, nephew, Jonathan Lofton, Jr., brother, Jonathan Lamar Lofton, Sr., sister Libby Faye Lofton, and friend Monta Maurica Kelso. Les leaves to cherish his memories his three sons, Leslie Lofton II, Byron Lofton (Sheila Stewart), and Brandon Kelso; daughter Brittney Rosa Lofton; siblings, LaNese Lofton-Powell, Harrison Lofton III, Charles (Brenda) Lofton, Reginald Lofton, Nathaniel (Patricia) Lofton, Lesia (Steven) Williams, Terrance Lofton, Lynda Lofton, Francine Williams and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
